About Me

My Photo
Lubbock, Texas, United States
Vic and I met when his family moved to Hobbs, NM for his senior year of high school. "What a cutie" I thought and before we knew it, we were dating. A year and half later Vic went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for his mission and was gone for two years. I missed him terribly, waited impatiently, and before I knew it he was home. Nine days later he proposed and 3 months after that we were married in the Lubbock, Texas Temple. Now here we are with our little family and my how time flies.

Exhausted

One day last month, I put Abby down for her nap. She was silent in her room but little did I know, she did not sleep. I went into her room 2 hours later to get her and we had a rather difficult afternoon. Around 5:00, she told me she was hungry so I gave her an apple to eat. I proceeded to fold laundry and when I checked on her, this is what I found.

Now for anyone who knows my daughter, they know she does not just fall asleep in odd places. She only ever falls asleep in her room with the door shut. She'll scream and yell and she and I will fight until I put her in her room, but she never just falls asleep. Imagine my surprise when I come across her sound asleep in her high chair. Of course, I had to take pictures. Vic came home shortly after and then this is what I found.

My two narcoleptics.

Wow! Adorable though. When you get a chance, I need your taco soup recipe :)

Love that last pic where they're both sleeping. That's pretty funny. Seems like you should go in the other room and take a nap too!
